Lunch Learning Center is a program designed for those who are showing delays in turning in their academic assignment(s). Students are referred to attend LLC if they have failed to complete an assignment(s).

On Friday’s students are issued a notice (Pink Slip). These forms state the assignment to be completed and the teacher who has assigned it. These are provided in a timely fashion so that all students can go to their lockers and gather materials needed to complete the assignment(s). Students have a grace period of the weekend to complete the work. On Monday they are to report to LLC during homeroom with their completed task. If the student does not return the assignment during homeroom, then they must attend LLC (during lunch) until the assignment is complete. This carries over each day and in some cases into weeks.

The goal with this program is to encourage students to complete all assignments in a timely manner. It is also a tool to teach responsibility and accountability. From the teachers stand point, it allows him or her to have more instructional time in the classroom. Reasonable measures are made by the teachers to collect work, but when it begins to effect or take away from instructional time, it is then turned over to the academic intervention coordinator.

Behavioral detention notices are given if a student does not follow the LLC procedures. (Expectations are listed below.) All Fulmer policies found within the school’s handbook are enforced in LLC also.
DISRESPECT TOWARDS LLC STAFF IS UNACCEPTABLE.

LLC Expectations
1.       Work without talking. (Raise your hand to speak.)
2.       Work while you eat. (First and Last name should be on all work.)
3.       Show respect towards everyone.
4.       Always come prepared.
5.       Keep your hands and any other items to yourself.
6.       Your must be working on something productive at all times.
7.       Sleeping and/or resting, is not an option.
8.       Stay seated. Keep all trash with you until leaving.
9.       “MYOB” Mind your own business.
10.      Do NOT remove any “loaner” items from the LLC room.

Some items may NOT be removed from the LLC room. (i.e. Test,Quiz,Special assignments.) Any student who removes any of these types of assignments from LLC without permission, will be given a "D" and recieve a zero for that assignment. Such items will listed as "LLC Only" on the students pink slip. This is an attempt to avoid students from cheating.

Parents are encouraged to assist in seeing that their child’s assignments are being completed. Their support is greatly appreciated. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION AT FULMER MIDDLE SCHOOL!
